Our paid internship program is 12 weeks long and takes place between June and August. In order to have an immersive experience of what it means to work at Squarespace, our interns work 40 hours per week alongside their teams.

Our summer internship program at Squarespace is 100% paid for interns across all teams.

For all employees, we offer free snacks, drinks, and catered lunch daily. As an intern, you will have plenty of time for planned social events, team activities, and educational programming. Past experiences have included Broadway shows, cooking classes, sports games, and a leadership speaker series.

Our interns have worked on a variety of projects that are shipped to users, including (but are not limited to!) Top-Level Domain (TLD) recommendations, the 404 page, Squarespace.com, and a Paypal integration that supports nonprofits.

Our interns work on small teams with a strong support system. Every intern is assigned a team lead who supports them on a day-to-day basis. Interns work on real projects with real impact, ranging from team initiatives to individual projects.

At this time, our internship program is only during the summer.

We go to great lengths to ensure every touchpoint of the product and brand is as beautiful and impactful as possible. We help define and execute brand identities, marketing campaigns, brand partnerships, and content creation.

Embedded in the Product Design organization, we create in-product content for Squarespace’s user interface across a variety of surfaces and high-impact projects.

Squarespace is a design-centric product company at heart which enables anyone to make it beautiful. Product designers at Squarespace are embedded within product teams amongst product managers, engineers and researchers.

We are committed to making Squarespace a global brand by promoting our products, spearheading creative campaigns, and providing a platform for our customers to tell their Squarespace stories.

The Frontend team at Squarespace is responsible for building one of the most advanced interfaces on the web. With it, our customers are able to easily create beautiful interactive websites and stores. If you are a Frontend Engineer who strives to push the boundaries with what is possible in a web browser, we want to hear from you!

We work with our Frontend counterparts to build the website creation and editing experience. We have a number of teams building functionality that surrounds the website experience, like account management, domain registration and transfer, machine learning, and more. We also build systems to manage orders and transactions on websites for users selling goods on our platform.

Internal Products creates and maintains rich, modern applications, services and integrations that power the growth of Squarespace. We work closely with teams across the company to define and solve complex problems.

Our mobile team collaborates very closely with the iOS, Android, front-end, and server engineering teams, and is responsible for delivering an excellent experience for Squarespace users on mobile devices.

As a member of our Data Engineering team, you’ll sit with a cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists and business analysts, working closely with your team to turn complex sources into understandable data.

We work together with the product teams to maintain the reliability of existing and new features that are backed by a fleet of microservices, scale our current data centers and adopt public cloud infrastructure, and with the data teams to tackle challenging "big data" issues.
