A career in tech wasn’t Kinjil Mathur’s first choice. When she finished college in the early 2000s with a double major in information systems and finance, the most coveted graduate roles were in management consulting. Now, more than 15 years into a digital career, she feels lucky to have missed out on the then-conventional ‘dream’ job. “In hindsight I think I am so fortunate that I got thrown into tech back then and got to build a career here,” she says.
